Product comparison

Compare the agreement, not the headline

A product comparison should answer what the customer receives, what the customer commits to and how the relationship works in ordinary and difficult circumstances. These guides use that structure for introductory, Islamic-versus-conventional and business banking questions. They do not award best-bank ratings or claim that one product fits every reader.

Make the connections.

Define the job before comparing features. Ask for a clear cost basis, access conditions, responsibilities and exit route. Where a proposal is incomplete, mark the missing information instead of assuming a favorable answer. A decision to seek clarification is often more useful than a rushed ranking based on a promotional description.

Keep the next step specific.

Use this reading path to identify the question you need answered, the person responsible for answering it and the evidence that would resolve it. Keep unconfirmed details separate from established facts. The relevant institution supplies current product terms; this publication supplies an educational structure for your research.
